Top Soil
Jack Poulton are suppliers of Cambridgeshires finest Fenland Black top soil. This excellent top soil is consistant in appearance and is a dark greyish brown. The soil has a low stone content and no foreign materials within, making it perfect for using in the garden and vegetable patch. Due to the clay content within (approx 35%) this top soil has excellent water and nutrient retention properties for heathy strong growth of plants and turf.
We are also able to supply a standard screened Top Soil which we call “Turfing Grade Top Soil” which is used for making up levels and is perfect for use on gardens which are to be turfed. This soil may have some small stones in it, but is fine for going under turf.
We can also supply “certified” Top Soil which is necessary on new housing sites or new build houses for NHBC purposes. Please contact us for details and we can discuss your exact requirements.
How to buy
All soil and composts are avaliable in jumbo/bulk bags (approx 1 ton) or can be delivered loose in quantites from 2 tonnes upwards. Please call 01763 273932 for more details. We can offer a same day delivery if an early order is placed, if not then we will deliver the next day.
